Wild Rags for Extraordinary Women?

Complimentary Accessories

One of the things I try to keep an eye on is what products would go well with my jewelry. This is because I realize that individuals do not only where clothes or only buy furniture or only decorate their homes. The same concept could be applied to any aspect of life.

One of the more recent online shops that I discovered is a shop that sells what I have frequently referred to as "scarfs". This shop has a variety of patterns and styles that you can see on the owner's website. The name of the site is called Heather's Wild Rags.

As I mentioned, I thought it was an interesting site because it offers accessories that might compliment my products. I checked around on Heather's Wild Rags and matched up one of her items with one of my fashion earring items. Here is a side-by-side:

Both pieces have that distinct red circular shape that unites them.

Out West Jewelry and All Things Western

Western Style Fashion

Perhaps you do not think of western wear when someone mentions fashion or style. The reality of the matter though is that western is a very popular style of fashion. If you aren't sure about that, you can check out this Google search:

http://goo.gl/dTIOV

So that got me to thinking, I wonder where a person might go to find some down-to-earth business owners that aren't too busy to help a customer out with all things western. I know of a site that provides a directory of western businesses. GoinWestern.com has a number of western themed sites in it from all over the country that offer everything from furniture to fashion. While browsing through the site, came across one site that I thought I mention in this post.

Out West Jewelry

This business has been providing western style jewelry for upwards of 12 years. On the website Kim mentions that her mission is to provide great jewelry at affordable prices. I browsed through the shop and found that to be true. Her selection is nice as well. She has buckles, necklaces and earrings.

One thing that found that was mentioned in the GoinWestern listing for this site, is that Kim really highlights the cowgirl jewelry as something see provides.

So if you thought that fashion western wear and accessories was not a reality, I encourage you to check out some of the options on the Internet. There are many small shops and sites that offer everything from western style clothing to jewelry. I even got with the program and started a line of western jewelry of my own. Yet, I have only a small selection compared with the amount of items you can find online.

Happy shopping everyone!

The Woman Makes the Clothes, Not Vice Versa

I thought this quote was very interesting because it is a concept I have valued for sometime. While not exactly the same, it is related to the thought expressed in my business slogan, "Ordinary jewelry for extraordinary Women".

Fashion, Style, and People - They All Work Together

Quippy One Line Quotes

I was browsing some quotes from a variety of fashion designers recently and I found that a number of them (the designers) make a distinction between fashion and style. I also thought that it might be interesting to post some of those quotes here on my blog. So, over the next few weeks, I will be posting a quote. And perhaps commenting on what I think is interesting about the quote. After all, designers and celebrities are interesting people, right?
